I learned something new yesterday: Why people calling in to a radio station curse when they don't win. I've never called a radio station for anything before yesterday, but felt inspired to try with the promise of tickets to see my favorite band up for grabs. The exercise taught me two things: One, no amount of begging, pleading, spells or prayers can make up for the HUGE lack of luck I have in games of chance. Two, when people cuss on the air, they're not as out-of-line as I always thought! TGIF! VAI.
Today's story: You're Doing it Wrong. Here in CO, we have an almost-forgotten rule of the roads, in the category of "mountain driving etiquette," which states: If you're at the front of a long line of cars on a single lane road, who want to go faster than you, you're to pull over and let them pass. I was driving one of those roads over the weekend, in one of those lines. The car at the front gets half credit for this attempt: He did let everyone pass. But, didn't pull over. Instead, he flipped on his hazzards, slammed to a stop in the middle of the road, and started gesturing with his arm for us to go around him!C+ for the effort. F for execution. Have a great Thursday! Don't know what's going to happen with my auditions, will have to wait and see. I had my taste of Hollywood now and it was an eye opener. I realized from this big adventure where to put my focus now, it will be on my business on the internet, I needed this excursion to see a new direction in which to follow. I will keep seeking Reality TV but it will not be my main focus. Charlie is my focus he's all I need everything else is secondary. I will keep you all posted with any new developments coming my way. As always thanks for your support and know that I am always rooting for you too. Chuck & Charlie
Of all the things I love about being a cat owner (i.e: slave), nothing quite gives me the same special feeling as coming home after a long, long day of work, to have to ask, quite seriously, "Have I been burglarized?" at the sight of the destruction that used to be a neatly ordered house. No, no...just the cats, making the most of the unchaperoned day! Have a great Tuesday! Voted!
My thought's for you on this Valentine's Day: Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity. Your vote is in!
Overestimating the enemy: When engaged in a war of words, and you find yourself consulting a book of psychological experiments to compose your counter-arguement, knowing full well your opponent can't even decipher a paragraph written in English, and not "text talk." Just a random thought for your Monday - hope it's a great one! VAI.
Have a great Sunday and consider this little message: I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be!!! Your vote is in!
