In the modern day, we still believe it's lucky to kiss under the mistletoe. But an old English superstition states that anyone who refuses a kiss beneath the mistletoe will never marry. Apprently medieval England didn't account for the high likelihood of a creeper beneath the mistletoe. Just a random thought for this Tuesday! VAI.
A tale of epic fail: My younger sister called me this morning to report that, at midnight last night, her boyfriend, who lives seven hours away decided to leave his family's house, and drive to see her. He arrived, already thinking he'd made a mistake...gave her a hug, a kiss, and then promptly had a panic attack about his parents strangling him for running away. The result - fourteen hours in a car, round trip, to see her for fifteen minutes. The absolute panic attack was thrown in for free! Have a great Sunday! VAI.
If I'm expecting "difficult company" at my house, I like to burn a negativity-banishing incense; supposed to make a visit more pleasant for everyone. My family came over yesteday, and immediately began complaining that my house smelled awful, and decided they couldn't stay. I guess my question is...does that mean the incense worked, and got rid of the negativity? Have a beautiful Saturday! VAI.
I'm sorry I took a leave of absence for so long...been busy with my wedding coming up. Stopped in to show my support and vote for all my friends...Have a great one!
