The roads are still icy here in my section of Colorado. But, as I sit here with some warm green tea, I find myself laughing, remembering my four years of high school in northern Virginia, where three times in four years, they canceled school for the POSSIBILITY of snow. Having a pet has been proven to have amazing healing and soothing effects on people. But there's still nothing quite as detrimental to getting rid of a migraine...as having a hyperactive six month old kitten, racing around your house at Mach 4, knocking over everything that isn't nailed down. I finally gave up, got up, and took a shower. The kitten is adorably passed out on my bed. The only thing stopping the tears is my ability to see the humor! Love coming your way from your exhausted friend! Voted.
