The third time was the charm last night for Tyson Apostol, who won Survivor: Blood Vs. Water in a 7-1 vote. In front of a live audience at the reunion, the newly crowned champion reiterated that he wanted the experience to be worth it after he didn't swap places with girlfriend Rachel Foulger. It kept him focused... and it certainly paid off (literally!)

If the move had worked, it would have gone done as one of the boldest in Survivor history. Hayden convinced Ciera to force a tie at tribal council, which left her, Katie, and Tyson to draw rocks. Whoever drew the white rock was out and while the plan was to get rid of Tyson, it was Katie who ended up on Redemption Island. In the next challenge, she lost to Laura and Tina, her mother.
