The Real Housewives of Orange County begins where it left off last week with the girls at Waterbar in San Francisco, arguing.

Alexis and Vicki are going head to head about the “my husband works” comment. Vicki feels completely ganged up on when Tamra says that she says things that she doesn’t know the sound of, once Gretchen and Alexis bring it up. She even asks if it is “Gang on Vicki day.”

Alexis says she is trying to help and Vicki says she doesn’t need this help and Alexis doesn’t even know her. Vicki gets up and leaves the table and thinks Alexis, who doesn’t know her at all, is completely out of line. Briana is left at the table and she gets upset, saying that she doesn’t want to deal with this BS. She feels like the only adult at the table.  She gets defensive of her mother and says that “her daughter might have cancer, she has 800 agents working for her, she might say things but it’s not personal.”

They all go after her, and while Vicki is still upset, she goes back inside but only after confronting Alexis about her statement about how Alexis doesn’t work, saying “Own it!!!” Later, Vicki says “Why does Alexis have 2 or 3 nannies? You don’t work. Raise your kids!” Once inside, Alexis initiates a prayer that goes on, and on, and on, and on, for Briana. Tamra can’t believe how many colors of dysfunction are at that table, and how inappropriate the prayer is. Vicki says that the damage is done and Alexis is a hypocrite. In general Vicki also says “It didn’t used to be this way, the fun is gone.” Umm…yep. Too much screeching drama!!! It makes me miss the days of just the women’s sons getting arrested ala Laurie and Tamra.

At home, Tamra tells Simon. Of course, Simon turns it inward; questioning the time Tamra spends with the women…she says that now that her children are not attached to her breasts, Simon doesn’t know how to deal with Tamra’s newfound freedom. 

Gretchen and Slade head to Palm Springs to hang out with her parents. Gretchen’s mom is not quite sure about Slade (apparently, like the rest of the world) although her father is friendly with him. Slade goes for a bike ride with Scott, Gretchen’s dad, and mentions his intentions. Scott says that Slade needs to win over Gretchen’s mom first but later at dinner Gretchen voices her hesitancy to marry again to Slade’s dismay. He hopes she was just saying that and doesn’t really mean it. We never find out what important question Slade has for Gretchen…maybe next week?

Frank is packing the house up, with a 3 day notice to pay or quit the house. Lynne and the girls are staying at her mom’s while Frank is at a hotel. He is ashamed and dismayed about letting Lynne down (even though I recently stumbled on an article stating that the Curtin’s were also evicted in 2003). Later, Lynne and Alexa go to Frank’s hotel room and Frank apologizes profusely. He is afraid he is going to lose his family. Alexa thinks everything is shady and Lynne admits that they have moved a lot. Alexa says they move every 6 months. She is upset and says it is “all talk with my dad” and he makes “promises he can’t keep.” She just can’t believe they are focusing on all of the stuff she is doing wrong while they are getting evicted and as Lynne admits “living beyond their means.”

Tamra and Vicki go for a hike and Vicki reaffirms that she was ganged up on. Tamra feels caught up in everything and says that Vicki should have known that she would defend her husband, although Vicki is adamant that if Donn were wrong Vicki would not defend him. They go back and forth about Simon. Vicki thinks that the entire subject is toxic and doesn’t want to force relations with him. 

Meanwhile, Alexis and Jim have their pastor over for breakfast to talk about the weird confrontation in San Francisco but they end up talking about how people pass judgment because of the size of Alexis’s fake breasts….ummm….awkward. Either way, Alexis and Jim think that they are down with G-O-D so they are cool with confronting Vicki and then randomly praying for Briana. 

 The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday 10/9 c on Bravo.
