Last night, Sober House was off the chain.  Luckily, “The Kari Ann Peniche Show” came to an end.  The girl hit a cameraman!  Kari was stressed out due to allowing Mindy McCready to live in her house.  Things weren’t going well, to say the least.  Remember Mindy from this past season of Celebrity Rehab?  Dr. Drew called her the “angel” of the group.  Well, she fooled us all.  She’s shackin’ at Kari’s house, indulging in alcohol, poppin’ diet pills and driving Kari crazy.  Kari received a text from Mindy that warned Kari to get a lawyer.  Kari was perplexed and furious as to what was happening at home.  She was on the phone expressing concern about her personal pictures and videos that Mindy may have access to.  This drama fueled Kari’s temper and she took it out on the cameraman.  Needless to say, Kari was sent packing.  But not before she cursed everyone out.  She’s such a class act.

Dr. Drew confirmed Kari’s worries as he reported that shortly after Kari left the Sober House, a sex tape was released on the internet.  Eric Dane (Dr. Mark Sloan, a.k.a. McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy) is married to Rebecca Gayheart (popular Noxzema model from the 90’s).  They were the co-stars in Kari Ann Peniche’s video.  FYI - It’s easy to find and very boring.  Did Mindy give the video to the press?  Was it all planned?  Was it all quite crazy and tasteless?  Moving on.

During the Group Session, Kendra Jade said that she fears “messing up” because if she gets out there a little bit – she goes full force.  Heidi asked Kendra to clarify if “messing up” meant; drinking, getting high, having sex or masturbating?  Mike Starr stopped the conversation with, “You can’t masturbate?”  The others replied that as a sex addict, you can masturbate, just not excessively.  This explanation calmed Mike’s concerns for his fellow rehab mates and I enjoyed the candid conversation.

Dr. Drew received a call from Seth “Shifty” Binzer, (recording artist who co-founded the musical group Crazy Town in 1995).  According to Wikipedia.com, Seth was treated by Dr. Drew on the first and second season of Celebrity Rehab and in the first season of Sober House.  Each time Dr. Drew treated Seth he has relapsed, and once again he's reached out to Dr. Drew for help.

Day 3 arrived and rehab tech Bob talked about “real jobs” with the patients.  He said they shouldn’t think they are “above” having a normal job amongst the other normal 6 billion people on the earth.  Tom Sizemore and Kendra Jade were assigned to do laundry at a homeless shelter.  Kendra found it beneath her to touch the clothing although she had gloves on.  She said that the items might have scabies or herpes on it.  Tom informed us that he’s never had an STD.  Later, the facility guide instructed Kendra to chop-chop rather than break to reapply lipstick.  She insisted that she would not be talked down to in such a manner and she quit!  “Real jobs” my tail!

Heidi Fleiss and Mike Starr had to bust suds and clean a restaurant.  They hustled a little bit and Heidi didn’t flinch when she had to scrub the men’s bathroom toilets.  She boasted she had been in prison for 3 years and wasn’t fazed.  But when it came time for Mike to clean the women’s bathroom, he demanded a break.  Mike stepped outside to have a smoke only to be reprimanded by another employee.  Mike’s rebellious attitude reared and he threw in the towel.  Heidi agreed that they had done their share of work for the day and the two walked off the job.  “Real jobs” my tail!

The only successful and hard working team consisted of Dennis Rodman, Seth Binzer and Jennifer Ketchum.  They had the most strenuous job of baling hay!  Rodman was experienced at the task and he, Seth and Jenni stepped up and handled business.  They seemed proud and rather liberated after the task.

Later, back at the Sober House, poor Mike Starr was suffering.  He relapsed and used heroin during his week at home.  Dr. Drew is using suboxone to help his rehabilitation, but he is trying to wean Mike off of it as it can be addicting.  Mike said he feels like his skin is crawling with bugs.  Geez, that must be a horrible feeling.  He asked house manager Jenn for some more suboxone but she had to call Drew for approval.  She later found him lying in bed and tried to offer him other medication. When Mike realized that the cameras were filming him, he jumped up and started swinging.  The clips for next week’s episode show Mike being sent home and him Mike boasting that he is going to get high.  I hope it’s all “future clip tricks” as I’m vying for Mike’s sobriety!

Also, next week Kari tries to come back but nobody wants her there except Tom Sizemore who comes to her defense.  Heidi Fleiss starts trippin’ with Tom and he said that he’s leaving the Sober House.  The others go out for a night on the town and all temptations are right at their feet!  It seems like everyone and everything is getting worse rather than better!
