On this week’s The Real Housewives of New York City, everyone is fighting! And I mean, it’s a miracle that riots didn’t break out. If you’ve seen it, you must be exhausted. Sit down, drink some chamomile tea, and let’s begin.
The first volatile scene comes after Bethenny tells boyfriend Jason about how much bigger the Jill argument is than she first thought. Things are going good for Bethenny and Jason, and the Jill Stuart show threw her off. Now, she decides to attend the Pamela Roland show as do LuAnn and Kelly. Kelly is stroking LuAnn about the Countess word when Bethenny shows up. LuAnn, is stressed with the drama, but is friendly to Bethenny, and talks to her about the shows she has been going to. LuAnn gives Bethenny a dig, or what Bethenny interprets as a dig. Bethenny confronts LuAnn about how she always digs at her, and the conversation quickly turns to Jill’s friendship and how Bethenny hasn’t seen her in four months, how good of friends LuAnn is with her, and how Jill talks about LuAnn sleeping around…eventually escalating into Bethenny telling LuAnn “I don’t like you, I don’t trust you and I think you are a snake…” After all that attacking, and “nasty skank” talk, Kelly asks LuAnn to switch seats with her which puts Bethenny and LuAnn sitting right next to her…awkward.
Ouch…shake it off. Here comes Round Two. The next scene worth noting, Ramona takes Avery to her first fashion show. Kelly is there, which surprises Ramona. Kelly brings up not being invited to the yacht party, and Ramona explains that she also didn’t invite Bethenny because she didn’t want any altercations. Kelly isn’t buying it. Later, Kelly says she has to go to a party for Perez Hilton and can’t stay, and Ramona busts her for not inviting her. Ramona decides to go. At the party, Kelly fills Ramona and Jill in on the argument that happened between Bethenny and LuAnn. At that point, Jill starts to tell them LuAnn’s side of the story, which Ramona says is typical of Jill, to butt in.
Next party is for Bethenny, for her Skinnygirl Margarita. Alex and Kelly end up attending and they all actually get along pretty well. Kelly and Bethenny sort of clear the air, which they both are happy about. Alex is happy she went to the party, and was happy to see Kelly and Bethenny try to move forward.
Jill shoots the cover for “Secrets of a Jewish Mother”. It’s really cute; her mom is very particular and stresses out the girls. Jill is really funny, rolling her eyes and getting annoyed. All of a sudden, you are watching a 12 year old girl and her mom, it seems. I guess the mother/daughter relationship never changes!
Ramona and Bethenny meet for drinks. Bethenny fills Ramona in on LuAnn getting involved in the Bethenny/Jill argument. Ramona tells Bethenny that Jill is afraid to see her. Ramona has been staying out of it, and Bethenny says that Ramona obviously wants to stay out of it. She mentions a party that Jill is throwing at Saks Fifth Ave. and Bethenny admits she doesn’t know about it and isn’t invited.
Drama scene 3 happens at the Saks Fifth Ave party. Ramona is shocked because she had heard that Jill was black balled for returning so many clothes after wearing them. Kelly shows up in this big fur vest and LuAnn says “what is this thing? It’s funky” which would be a dig had Bethenny been there. Simon and Alex show up, and Simon just loves it, he loves fashion. LuAnn, Alex and Simon are talking and Simon teases LuAnn about Mario, when Ramona overhears. Ramona interrupts, and says that LuAnn didn’t want Ramona to have her get together on Labor Day because she didn't want to invite Simon and Alex. Ok, did she just say that right in front of LuAnn?? Yikes! LuAnn denies. Ramona gets red. Ramona says LuAnn is completely lying.
Alex pulls Ramona to the side to tell her about her need to talk to Jill about the kid’s thing. Jill walks up and Alex talks to her about Francois crawling up someone’s leg. Jill says it wasn’t her, and Alex starts to cry. Alex says there are so many things that are stupid and petty and she lets them go. But when someone starts to talk about her children it really gets to her…finally LuAnn comes up to them, after Jill says that it was LuAnn that said those things. LuAnn says it was in fact, her, that said something. At this point Alex is so annoyed with both Jill and LuAnn.
At the end of the party, Kelly has to leave early. Ramona is feeling her pinot grigio and pisses Kelly off about getting her breasts redone (at which point everyone starts kind of eluding to the fact that Ramona is moody and unpredictable this season. Funny, she is FOR SURE the fan favorite right now...). LuAnn’s divorce is final that day. Alex lets the trash talking about her kids go for the evening. Kelly pulls her typical leave early thing. Jill has fun hostessing her party. And the white elephant in the room is t hat Bethenny just isn’t there.
