Tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City begins with LuAnn stopping by Sonja Morgan’s place to get some donations for the charity thrift store event. Sonja lives on the Upper Eastside and was married to a Morgan for several years, as in JP Morgan. They have since divorced, and Sonja just seems like a wonderfully happy woman living the good life. She has put together a stack of fabulous clothes for LuAnn’s event and offers to host it at her apartment. In the foyer, LuAnn notices that Sonja has a photo of Max. As in Kelly’s Max from last season. Sonja says that “Sex is an important part of life.  Sex, yoga, good food, good wine, beautiful surroundings, animals, you got to have it all.” I love this woman!!

We find Jill having lunch with Bobby and talking about her ambush at Ramona’s. He mentions the card that Bethenny gave to Jill to give to him and he says it was kind of her. Bobby seems to think Jill should just bury the hatchet with Bethenny. LuAnn takes a rickshaw to meet Jill in Central Park. Jill gets a kick out of LuAnn, The Countess of de Lesseps pulling up in a rickshaw in the park. It seems fitting. They speak about Yom Kippur and the process of forgiving everyone to make you ready for the New Year. Jill wonders if she can forgive Bethenny. LuAnn also shares that she is dating a new man who is younger, French and in the wine industry. On top of it all, he is also Jewish. Ramona sets up a romantic night to woo Mario into renewing their vows. She sees life changing with Avery getting older, and wants to celebrate her renewal.

Bethenny is handing out sandwiches at the Seaport for her spokesperson role with Pepperidge Farms when Alex meets up with her. She shares with her that when she went to Los Angeles, her sick father didn’t want to see her. She also lets her know about the Ramona-Ambush as it is starting to be called. Bethenny feels she has had two people slam the door in her face (her dad and Jill) lately and it is time for her to focus on the other more important stuff in life and stop paying attention to the nonsense.

Back in Brooklyn, Alex is getting ready for Brooklyn Fashion Weekend. Ramona shows up to model with a bottle of Pinot Grigio.  She gets advice from several people backstage before her walk. Apparently, Kelly and Alex were already walking and so she had asked if she could.

 When Jill arrives to the event, she is disgusted from the moment her Louboutin hits the pavement. “The step and repeat is next to a heap of trash.” She thinks that if LuAnn would have come, which she wouldn’t since she “wouldn’t be caught dead” with Alex and Simon (wait? What about when she wanted them to come to the party in the Hampton’s in the 2nd episode this season?), she would have had her driver just keep on driving after she saw the event.

Kelly hasn’t seen Jill since the email that Jill sent about her befriending Bethenny. Jill says Kelly is paranoid. Jill also mentions a tweet on Twitter that was directed towards Bethenny that was very nice. Kelly asks if Jill remembers PR 101? This is PR 102. Ok, so according to Kelly:

PR 101: Any press is good press.

PR 102: Get rid of it and move on.

PR 101: Attacking someone

PR 102: Deflation. Deflate an attempt to attack by complimenting someone.

(Ok, side note here, Kelly confuses me like no other. No matter how many notes I take, she dances around with her words so I have to just quote her and hope that someone gets it, somewhere.) Kelly says about Twitter: “I wasn’t kissing her ass (Bethenny), I was telling the whole world to leave me alone”

Jill says, “Why would you do that?”

Kelly answers, “Because they are off me now.” Got it? Okay. Moving forward….

Jill sees Ramona at the event and the first thing she says is, “That necklace doesn’t go with that dress.” When Ramona smiles blankly at her, with no response, Jill leans over and whispers in Kelly’s ear, “She doesn’t know that I know that it’s her jewelry.” Jill also says she feels overdressed. Out of place. The chairs are uncomfortable.

Once the fashion show starts, Kelly thinks she looks like a linebacker, which is kind of true, because of the dresses cut. Alex walks the runway and Jill says she looks mean, and like she is walking too fast. When Ramona comes out, Jill says she “Looks like an alien invaded her body.” She “walked like a robot with her neck sticking out like a giraffe and her eyes bulging. It was hysterical.” As soon as the show is over, Jill hightails it out of there, without speaking to any of the other girls. This disappoints Ramona and hurts her feelings.

Later, Jill hosts a Kodak event. LuAnn, Ramona, Kelly and Sonja attend. The first thing Ramona says to Jill is that Kodak is antiquated. Ramona also mentions that Jill left the Brooklyn fashion show immediately. Jill apologizes but then gets angry and says that Ramona has insulted Kodak and herself and that she should just leave. She then storms off. Kelly and LuAnn defend Jill to Ramona and ask her if she is jealous. Kelly comes over and says some stuff that I can’t understand because I need transcripts to understand Kelly. LuAnn, who I do understand, tells Ramona that she needs to edit herself. Then, like in high school, Kelly and LuAnn walk away and leave Ramona alone. Sonja, who also attends the event, meets Kelly and LuAnn can’t help but mention that they have Max in common. Sonja admits they had a relationship but Kelly stays mum about hers. 

Sonja, who has known Ramona for over 20 years, hangs back with her and they visit. Sonja says that if “you think Ramona is crazy now, you should have known her 20 years ago!” Ramona confronts Kelly again and Kelly starts talking and noises come out, but I don’t know what she is saying and she never really finishes a word, sentence, thought and finally Ramona gets annoyed and says “I can’t talk to you, you have no brain.” Then, Ramona walks away.

During this entire altercation, Jill is on stage and sees what is going on. Jill cannot believe that Ramona is doing this in the middle of her presentation, and feels that she deliberately is trying to sabotage her endorsement deal with Kodak.

Oh, and Bethenny finds out she is pregnant.
