RealityWanted's The Voice Season 2 Predictions

by Todd Betzold

We started watching these singers on Super Bowl Sunday (the blind auditions for Juliet, Chris and Tony all aired that night...I find that to be interesting) and now we are down to the Final Four of The Voice, but we are all wondering who will take home the championship tonight...it's so close, even I don't have a favorite to take it all.

Last night was an amazing night...the performances were excellent, the duets were fun, the tribute songs were touching and the coaches were dramatic and fighting. I know it is about the singers, but when they are so blatantly being rude to each other and ripping on each others singers, then it must be talked about. I did that last night in my recap, but in short...Christina was ridiculous and Adam played into it...enough of that...now back to the singers!

The duets and tribute songs were not part of the voting process, but I think they could play a huge part in the votes. Jermaine Paul...what can I say about him? His performance was amazing...he came out swinging and he gave me goosebumps within the first five words of his song. The whole production was elegant and classy and I loved it. His tribute song was amazing and emotional and his duet with Blake was fun and showed a different side of him, which I think could have won over some more voters for him. Tony Lucca...this guy, to me, shows so much versatility and sings songs that are so different from the original and the Britney Spears song is still one of the best performances of the season. There was controversy over choosing to sing "99 Problems," but I didn't see it being inappropriate and he sang the crap out of it...he is entertaining to watch on the stage. His duet was amazing with Adam and his tribute song showed his vocal ability...all three songs showed off that versatility. Chris Mann...can an opera singer really win The Voice? I didn't think so, but then he sang Josh Groban and blew me away. This was a perfect song for him and showed that he could make it in the industry with that voice and his Mann Fans have come out big time for him this season and I think it will be no different for the finals. His duet was sang beautifully and his tribute song was good. Juliet Simms...this girl has a presence on stage that is unbelievable. Her style is amazing and the way she belts out these rock songs is great. I just love her tone and her rasp and the emotion she shows...you know this is huge for her. She has kicked some major booty on the iTunes charts this season, so that is only a benefit for her. The duet was so fun to watch, but her tribute song was a little rough in spots.

So, who is going to win it all? After checking out the iTunes charts (as of this posting, they all are in the Top 13 on iTunes), I have to stick with my initial pick to win it all. Their blind audition blew me away and it has only continued with every time they hit the stage. My pick to win it all tonight is Tony Lucca...and make it back-to-back wins for Team Adam! He has a huge following and is #4 on iTunes right now in the Top 100 songs...that is amazing. All the singers are beyond amazing, but I think with his following (including celebrities), I think it will push him to victory. This will be a very close vote, but with the exposure they have all gained through this show...they are all winners.

Do you agree with me? Who is your choice to win it all? Tell me who you think will win and why you pick them in the comments!

Find out if I am right when The Voice Finale airs tonight at 9/8c on NBC.
