The cast isn't the same but the personality is. The Ladies of London are still aggressive, cold and ruthless. But they're friends?
Caroline has acquired another business, a one-stop wedding shop, and is as business oriented as ever. It is clear when she offers up her suburban home for a cocktail party the night before hosting a Thanksgiving dinner she will not be lifting a finger. Like we ever thought she would.
Marissa is trying her damnedest to host a Thanksgiving dinner at her restaurant, Bumpkin, and when she feels like she isn't getting her way she calls it all offensive. When Juliet cries to Caroline about wanting the thankful feast to be at a home the good ol' fashioned way, Caroline quickly offers up her mansion to stop the blubbering. It's obvious Caroline could care less about the American Holiday, but her friendship with Juliet tugged at her heart. Let the turkey legs fly.
It turns out that Juliet is not allowed to be friends with both Caroline and Marissa at the same time. Marissa feels Juliet needs to chose and in this instance I don't feel the Americans will be sticking together. Marissa likes to feel like the hostess with the mostest and is most offended that Juliet is "trading up" with Caroline. Caroline feels like American's are a waste of precious time. In the most endearing way possible, of course. This season may be less Brit vs Yank and little more Yank vs Yank. The cast isn't the same but the personality is.
