Do you believe in Big Foot? Trent, 44, from Salt Lake City does! He says when he was 12 he actually had a close encounter and now he doesn't like the dark. His PSR is set at 7.4. Annie from Essex, IL doesn't believe in Big Foot but as a photographer she probably wants to see him. But this tough mama isn't as tough as she thought, her PSR is set at 6.1. They bring a flint and a hammock. Um, what? Cordage, fish net, bed... brilliant.

They are in the Mayan Jungles of Belize that is crawling with venomous spiders including the black widow, and the night-stalking jaguar. Annie has a very difficult time stripping at the beginning but eventually goes for it and Trent makes her feel more at ease. First they must hike upwards to find dry land for camp. First things' first, shelter, then fire. On the second day Annie is feeling the effects of dehydration but right on cue they find crystal clear water nearby. Unfortunately Annie isn't sleeping well during the cold nights and it's affecting her body and her mood. On Day 4 she says her spirit is gone and she taps out, bringing her partner to tears and bringing her PSR down to 4.5.

Now that he's all alone, Trent is faced with being "the jungle bachelor". However, this bachelor is still afraid of the dark and hypersensitive when the sun goes down. The first thing on his personal agenda is crafting a door (an idea he got from Gilligan's Island) to keep out the dangerous jungle creatures. The not-so-dangerous creatures are hopefully on his dinner menu. Due to a lack of protein he is unable to distinguish paranoia from reality, making nights and the lurking animals his personal torture. After too much rumbling in the leaves, Trent bolts out of his shelter screaming "Help me!", causing the crew to venture out to look for him. It is unusual for a crew to meet the survivalists when the sun goes down.

Midway through the challenge comes a torrential downpour lasting for three days, reducing Trent's chances of hunting for food. On his last day before extraction he finally gets a gopher he had stalked for days. This gives him the energy he needs for his hike 3 miles through tightly packed vegetation, swim 1/2 mile then another hike through rocky rainforest. By the end he is down 22 pounds but his PSR rose to 8.2 mostly due to his being the longest stretch of alone time in Naked and Afraid history. Things we didn't get to see was the impact of being alone for so long, ho when made such kick ass shoes, and what exactly he ate during his 21 days.
