Juliet is hosting a bowling party, equipped with burgers, beer and wigs. Everyone is hoping it's the perfect opportunity for the tears to stop flowing and peace to come over the Ladies. Caroline F. is trying to take Juliet under her wings to save her from herself and stop the drama. Yet she is the one involved in the drama with Marissa. Instead of embracing the fact that she's a cougar (Juliet's nickname for her) she is offended that Marissa keeps bringing up the fact she is dating a younger man.
Annabelle still doesn't understand the women and their relationship dynamics, but she doesn't really have the time to care. She's busy with her children's book series "Me Me Me's". Her publishers have organized a reading and she is beyond nervous. She visits an estate with Julie and Caroline Flemming to help decipher how to keep her husband's Mapperton Estate alive by making it a business.
Caroline Stansbury is about to lose her business. She built her business too quickly yet gifts aren't moving through the library as quickly as anticipated. While talking with her investors, they come up with a solution and that is to fire several employees by the end of the week. Caroline may seem like a hard-ass, but she is feeling the regret over this decision. In order for her business to grow and investors to keep investing, she must get out of the plateau. Before worrying too much about her business, she must first host her friends from America... um... her friend is Michael Sam. The first openly gay NFL player.
