Americas Next Top Model Cycle 8

On last night's cycle 8 finale of America's Next Top Model, Jaslene Gonzales was named the winner. She prevailed after not making it past the semi-finals in cycle 7. She consistently took strong photos as well as brought her big personality & passion to everything she did. Jaslene is the first Latina winner of America's Next Top Model. The three remaining models participated in a national photo shoot for CoverGirl's Lipshine Lip Color and a "My Life as a CoverGirl" commercial. The girls met with Aboriginal Elder Uncle Max and his niece Calita, who taught them about the native Australian art of storytelling through dance. They were then assigned the challenge of creating a dance through body art, movement and oral speech to represent their personal journeys. The girls were greeted by Twiggy and ANTM: Cycle Seven participant Melrose who taught them the importance of having a memorable name. Each girl was given the task of creating a unique name, which they had to use when introducing themselves at a Hollywood party filled with celebrities. The girls enjoyed mingling at the party with stars including rapper
